Rosanna Gregory was a former merchant/herbalist of Whittier’s Enchanted Herbs from 1993 to 1999. She graduated with honors from the Nova Institute in 1997 as a Massage Technician & became a supervisor at a Huntington Beach site until 2000 when she decided to teach massage as she completed acupuncture college. In 2005, she completed her Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine at Emperors College in Santa Monica & passed her board exams the following year.
How Rosanna differentiates herself from other acupuncturist is she helps her clients participate in their therapy. Being she had a teaching background for over 10 years as well as a massage background for over 14; her methods are soft unobtrusive, guiding and effective. Her main specialties are shoulder & hip injuries along with metabolic syndrome/borderline diabetes type II.
Rosanna combines her massage services with acupuncture for unique and effective treatments.
A note from Rosanna –
I’d like to start by saying thank you for observing my site. I appreciate you investing the time in finding the right acupuncturist to treat you. My style is considered the Japanese style, which are pain free and as little needles as possible. I am a believer in “less is more”. In my treatment I take the time to find the right combination that works for you. Some patients prefer the standard acupuncture treatment by itself, some in combination with massage & others just want herbal supplements for at home use.
To say I have a specialty is very difficult because T.C.M. (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is relative & not absolute. I don’t look at just one symptom & only treat that. I treat by looking at clusters of symptoms & patterns that seem to group up in a category of T.C.M. theory. Therefore, you will find a lot of questions have to be answered from you before our first session starts. I do my best to break things down to help you understand, but please do not be surprised if it baffles you. An old text I’d say you might want to read is called The Web That Has No Weaver. It’s a great book that anyone even outside of the healing arts can understand. Our goal is to get your body back to a healed state. Your body already knows how to do this. All we have to do is find the right plan & guide you back to optimal health.
To ease your mind here is a list of symptoms I have experience in treating:
- Muscle and Joint Pain
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Infertility (Female & Male)
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Bell’s Palsy
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Mechanical Vertigo
- Irregular & Painful Menses
If you’re coming in for a pain issue, the last thing you’re going to want is more from a needle in that area. You will notice my massage only prices are higher than if added onto acupuncture. I’ve been performing therapeutic massage treatments for the past 18 years and to this day I can honestly say I still love it. My acupuncture practice is different from other acupuncturist that you will find don’t perform any massage including Chinese Tui Na. So I highly recommend you at least try adding 15 minute massage segments to each treatment, the price is lower & heightens your experience to a full relaxation level.
